We believe that there is one true and living God, Jehovah, who is the Creator and ruler of heaven and earth. He is one God existing as three distinct persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, who are equal in divinity known as the Trinity.
We believe that man was created by God as His special creation and is made in God’s image and likeness. As God’s crown creation, man was endowed with freedom of choice. As a free moral agent, man being tempted by satan, sinned against God. Through the sin of the first man, Adam, all humanity is born into sin and is in need of salvation.
We believe that in the fullness of time, God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, as the Savior of the world. He was born of the Virgin Mary. He was fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and was crucified as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He died, was buried, rose from the grave, ascended back into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will return to take everyone who accepted Him as Savior to live with Him for eternity.
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, only possible through repentance and a personal acceptance and belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyone who receives the Lord Jesus as Savior receives the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers every believer to live according to the Will of God.
We believe that hell is a real place that was created for satan and his demons. It is a place of torment and permanent separation from God. Those who die without accepting Jesus as personal Savior are condemned to live in this place of permanent torture and separation from God. God desires that all mankind be saved and escape this place of everlasting punishment by professing their faith in Jesus.
We believe that water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s death to sin and identifying a new life in Christ.
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is an act of obedience whereby believers memorialize the sacrifice of Jesus’ death in anticipation of His Second Coming.
We believe in the power of prayer and that each believer has been given direct access to God through the Lord Jesus.
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God that was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the authority for life and faith.

Do you know where you will spend eternity after you depart this earthly life? The Bible makes it clear that it will be only one of two places, heaven or hell.
- Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them, John 3:36 NIV.
- We die only once, and then we are judged, Hebrews 9:27 CEV.
The Bible also makes it clear that in order to enter heaven, you must be saved. Furthermore, it states that salvation is only possible by receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.
- Jesus is the only one who can save people. His name is the only power in the world that has been given to save anyone. We must be saved through him, Acts 4:12 ERV.
- Have faith in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, Acts 16:31 CEV.
If you are not certain where you will spend eternity and would like to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I would love to share with you how you can be saved:
- First, acknowledge that you are a sinner (for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23 NIV).
- Second, repent of your sins (repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, Acts 2:38 NIV).
- Third, believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for your sins and rose from the grave (God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners, Romans 5:8 NLT. He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures, 1 Cor 15:4 KJV).
- Fourth, invite Jesus to come into your life, to be your Lord and Savior by praying a prayer of salvation (everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, Acts 2:21 NIV). Pray this prayer of salvation:
- Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and I am unable to save myself. I repent of my sin and with the aid of your Holy Spirit, I turn away from my sin. I believe the Lord Jesus died on the Cross for my sins, rose from the dead, and is alive forevermore. I ask you to come into my heart and save me, cleanse me from all unrighteousness, and help me to live for you. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Beloved, I believe that if you sincerely prayed that prayer, you have been saved! The Bible says, “If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” Romans 10:9 NIV. I encourage you to pray and read the Bible every day to help you grow in your faith. Don’t worry, if you think that you do not know how to pray; you do not have to use big, impressive words. Prayer is simply communicating with God with a sincere heart. I also encourage you to seek out a church where you can worship with other Believers of Jesus Christ.
We at Daughter of Zion Ministries, Inc. would love to hear from you. Please share your testimony with us at info@dzministries.com – PO Box 351, Harvest, AL 35749.
May God continue to bless and keep you is my prayer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
